October 2011 - PSUK XC National Championships

Hantspol riders Rich Phillips-Schofield and Katherine Willoughby achieved amazing results for the club by winning the male and female categories at the 2011 cross country nationals. This Police Sport UK event was also combined with the overall emergency services event in which Rich and Kath finished 2nd overall in their respective categories. As a club, HANTSPOL CC sent 11 riders to the event and came out as overall team winners!

September 2010 - Emergency Services XC Nationals

Katherine Willoughby got HANTSPOL CC on the podium by finishing 3rd overall in the female category. Jim Hart finished 3rd in the male open category (18-29) whilst Steve Keenor was the highest place Hantspol rider overall.

HANTSPOL CC riders have also entered various competitive and sociable riding events this past year. These include the Wiggle Falling Leaves race in which Jim Hart and Warren Mason rode sub 2 hour times to achieve ‘gold’ finishes. The Brass Monkeys Enduro race also saw HANTSPOL CC riders do well and we were even represented by Dave Grey at this years Megavalanche!

Our road riders can be seen at various events including the Mega Meon Sportive, the Wight Ferry Sportive and even the odd trip to Belgium!
